For individuals and families, Spain has become a well-known vacation choice. You can find interesting and popular Spain attractions in its large cities, smaller towns, and beautiful countryside. Because of museums, old castles, fortresses, and galleries, all tourists are provided with a great sightseeing occasion to gain knowledge about Spain's past and unique cultures of its seventeen regions.

Madrid is the capital of Spain and together with Seville and Barcelona, they are some of the most popular large cities in the country. A vibrant city which is located in the heart of the country is Madrid. The old town area of Madrid has great shopping and places to eat. Many visit Madrid for its famous museums and art collections. The Golden Triangle is in the center of Madrid and is home to the famous museums of Prado, Thyssen Bornemisza and Reina Sofia. The Royal Palace is another great attraction you cannot miss while in Madrid. Especially popular among tourists are the gardens. However, the fun does not really stop when the sun sets. Madrid also offers great nightlife with its live music and trendy night clubs.

Near the French and Spanish border is where you can find Barcelona. The influence of France, Rome, Carthage and the Moors is what you can see in its architecture. Throughout the years, there is the mixture of various cultures influencing Barcelona and you will not miss them.

There is a lot to see in Seville, Spain, the capital of Andalusia. Fountains in its charming plazas are included in the old quarter area of town which means that it is not lacking in attractions. A great place to rest and also make a beautiful background for pictures are these fountains. The royal palace of Alcazar offers tours. There are beautiful gardens on the palace grounds.

Spain also offers great attractions on the Mediterranean Coast. For instance, the Costa del Sol region is a popular destination for sunbathing and relaxing on the beach in the summer and warming up during the cold winter months. There is a beautiful scenery in this region and it has many attractions to explore. Malaga is one of the many popular destinations to visit in this area. In the past few years, golf vacations have become very popular. Many golf courses can be found in the area from which you can choose. The region has been called Costa del Golf by many golfers. The favorable climate makes it great for golf in any season.

The Costa Blanca is another popular region in Spain. It is home to many small villages with more quiet resorts and is also home to some of the larger tourist cities, such as Benidorm. Torrevieja is located in southern Costa Blanca is known for salt production and salt baths.
