Top Luggage For You

When you go away on a business trip, or take a vacation, do you find yourself digging out the same badly battered, worn suitcases and bags that you have been using for the last decade? Worse still, are you still using the now threadbare backpack that accompanied you faithfully throughout all of Europe, and a good part of Asia, when you went backpacking for a year in your early twenties?

Whatever your situation or needs, travel luggage needs to change as you do. If you have a family, you need to have a range of suitcases, bags and backpacks to cater for each family member. What if you've become a high flying executive now? Your worn suitcase that had seen better days won't do for you now.

Luggage is an important expression of your personal style and taste. Indeed the most fashionable travellers simply regard their luggage as an extension of their wardrobe - additional accessories to co-ordinate with their overall "look". You can find a lot of high quality brands that don't cost a fortune.

When choosing new luggage it is important to think through the likely uses of the bags or suitcases you are buying. For example, if you're going to go on many short business trips, then pick suitcases that are small, compact, and easy to bring. In reality, many business travellers bring bags that are small enough to be carry-on luggage for convenience.

But it's not a bad idea to buy larger suitcases, as they can be used when you go on longer trips. Soft bags are also very good to have. If you expect that you'll pack sports items, you can get big carriers.

It's quite easy to shop for luggage if you know what you need. Be aware that good quality luggage will last a long time. If your needs will likely change, then pick multi-purpose luggage.
