Your Dinner With Disneyland Characters

By all means, arrange a Disneyland Character meal if you're thinking of surprising your child with something unique and special. This will allow you and your whole family to have quality time with one or more of the Disneyland characters. If your children want to meet their favorite characters, then this is the best way for them to do so.

Start by making a reservation. This can be done through the Disneyland Vacation Planning Services Department. Since you have up to two months in advance to make a reservation, do not ever wait till the very last moment to make them. Multitask and make those fateful reservations while planning your Disneyland vacation.

Character breakfasts take place each morning at the park. No reservation needed - you can just stroll in anytime you are at the park. These breakfasts take place in many of the parks restaurants, but Goofy's Kitchen is a great place to start. You can find it at the Disneyland Hotel, and there are meals for diners of all ages. And if you've got toddlers, you (and your wallet) will be pleased to know that children under three can eat free of charge. Goofy and Pluto are the mainstays of this restaurant, but you'll see other characters saunter in from time to time. You may need to wait for a long time if you don't reserve ahead, so make sure you do so if you want to take your family to Goofy's Kitchen.

Ariel's Grotto is the restaurant you want to visit if your child fancies having a meal with a Princess. This restaurant serves three course meals for young and old alike. As they spend some time with you and your family, each of the princesses will make sure you have everything taken care of. Ariel's Grotto is another restaurant that needs to be reserved in advance. This happens to be the only restaurant in the park that serves beer and other alcoholic drinks.

Finally, the Storyteller's Cafe would be another great selection when taking your kids out for Character Meals. Characters are only here during breakfast, however. Characters don't pass by each and every table like the Princesses at Ariel's Grotto do, rather, they engage in group interactions. Once again, you will have to reserve in advance if you wish to dine here, either menu or buffet style. Lilo and Stitch also have a Character Breakfast, as does Minnie Mouse. The most popular by far is Breakfast with Minnie and Friends - this has to be reserved with enough notice in advance!

You should definitely include a Character Meal or two in your Disneyland Vacation plans. Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth, and one way it makes children happy is by allowing them to interact with their favorite Disney characters and make their young dreams come true! But we have to remind this once again to everybody reading this article - reserve well in advance!
