South Africa Offers Diverse Travel Experiences

When the Portuguese arrived, the recorded history of South Africa was born. This country has experienced the unique setting of extensive European immigration, leading to vast cultural and ethnic mixtures. South Africa is at the most southern tip of the continent and much of its border is coastline. The country boasts beautiful landscapes, and you?ll find citizens of many countries coming to South Africa to build their own adventures.

There are several places to visit in south Africa. These provide immense pleasure to the tourists. The capital of South Africa is Pretoria. It is a very important industrial hub of the country.It also has the national zoo in its premises. The zoo is a very popular tourist attraction in the country. There are some major travelling cities in the country like Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and so on. One should definitely visit these cities.

Some of the most sought-after locations in Cape Town are its beaches. Another favorite site is Table Mountain, which travelers to South Africa rate as a ?must see? place. Here, you will find exquisite views of both the city of Cape Town in one direction, and the beaches in the other. If you want a different view, head over to Garden Route for lakes, rivers and forests filled with beauty. South Africa is also renowned for their wine production, and one popular destination for winery tours and tastings is The Cape Wine.

Johannesburg is the most famous city in South Africa. This city is a travel point for connecting flights, tourist attractions include Historical and art museums of the Johannesburg. Durban city is also a well known vacation point which has many attractions like Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve, Burman Bush Nature Reserve. Persons who like sports can have a great time on the beaches of Durban which has facilities for a variety of sports. Port Elizabeth which is famous for its sunshine, beaches and booming nightlife is also visited for its parks and reserves. Sowete has many historical places.

Kruger National Park is the most popular nature reserve in South Africa. Owing to its great environment and a variety of animal species, this park is a huge wildlife reserve. The Kruger National Park is considered to be the among the top three safari destinations in Africa. It is also considered the best site in South Africa for bird watching. At this place you would get the chance to see the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo). Hermanus is popular as the world?s best land-based whale watching destination. It also organizes a very famous Whale Festival. The Drakensberg (Dragon Mountains) is the ideal spot for photographing the beauties of the nature.

If you are really into the safari experience, South Africa offers one of the top three nature reserves on the continent at Kruger National Park. You?ll want to bring your binoculars for bird watching, and you?ll see tons of native animals in their natural habitats, including the five species that everyone comes to Africa for: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceroses, and buffalo. Other great locations for viewing nature are Hermanus, where you can go whale watching from the shore, and the Dragon Mountains which are always filled with photographers.

South Africa is an amazing travel destination and offers the visitors a magnificent experience.
