Don't rely on the airline you're flying with to cater to your every need, even if you're going on a long distance flight. You should know that some criminals pose as police officers in dangerous cities. Never give someone your passport, because they might not give it back to you. If you are advised that you need to return with them to the police station or another office, travel with them only by foot. Do not get into a vehicle with strangers at home or abroad.

The shoes you wear when you go flying should be comfortable, lightweight, and easy to take off and put on. You might have to take them off quickly for security checks. Your comfort is the most important factor here. In airports and on planes, you will not walk that much, but you will sit a lot; therefore heavy-duty support isn't necessary. Therefore, it is smart to wear sandals or flip-flops when flying.

When traveling, it is important to wear shoes that are comfortable and easily removable. You are required to take them off when going through security checks. They should always be comfortable. You are not going to have to do as much walking as you will sitting in most cases, so the heavy-duty support isn't really that necessary. The best shoes for flying might well be sandals or flip-flops.

These products are overpriced and the space saved is not worth it. A different way to save space is to fold your clothes more efficiently. This will help you in your quest to get some more space in your bags.

It is customary to tip any hotel staff that makes your stay easier. Generally, you will give one dollar per piece of luggage, and anywhere between two and five dollars a day for housekeeping. This will keep your relationship with the employees a cordial one and your stay pleasant.

Don't forget to check your passports' expiration dates. You may find that different countries have different rules and regulations regarding your passport. You are usually not allowed to enter a country if your passport expires soon. The limit on expired passports can range up to six months; some countries may go up to a year.
